Cabo San Lucas is a tourism hot spot that is adjacent to a major international airport. While there are plenty of local attractions, taking a trip to the small artistic village of Todos Santos is a must-do! The town is lined with cobble streets, mural painted buildings and shops. Make sure to grab a bite, enjoy a beer and bring cash to spend on artisan goods.
Cabo Car Rentals vs Personal Vehicles
If you have a personal vehicle, the trip is especially convenient. Just jump on the road and you will be there in short order. The signs are obvious and the road is about as easy as you will find in Mexico. The low population in the area also keeps traffic at a minimum.
Renting a vehicle is also an option. If you rent, just hit the airport and find a rental agency. Do your research first however to avoid scams and bait-and-switch fee structures. Driving Directions from Cabo San Lucas to Todos Santos
If you decide to make the drive, follow these simple directions. Once you hit the highway, it’s a straight shot north with one obvious and well signed exit to Todos Santos.

From Cabo San Lucas, you will drive north on Baja Highway 19 the entire route. Finding the highway from downtown is a matter of getting to BLVD Hidalgo before it connects to the on ramp. Use a mapping service to make this easier.
Things to See Along the Way
As you drive north, the coastline is inviting and you will cross a few great places to stop. Consider making a trip to Cerritos where you can find amazing food and surf. Sometimes it’s nice just to pull in and watch surfers as they ride waves on the popular break.
